LinkedIn is a great platform but it's not designed specifically for developers. DevBuilt lets developers create a profile that links directly to their relevant skills and experience in programming languages, frameworks, libraries and more. It is also more focused on privacy and spam prevention, allowing developers to connect with employers and recruiters in a non-instrusive manner.

Creating a profile and projects on our platform offers several benefits. As a developer, showcasing your work is crucial, yet it can be challenging — Not all your work is publicly or easily available. By creating a profile and dedicated project pages, you have the opportunity to present your work comprehensively. You can include detailed descriptions, share media assets, and provide insights into your development process. This not only allows you to exhibit your skills and expertise but also enhances your credibility and reputation within the developer community. It serves as a powerful tool for attracting potential employers or collaborators who can recognize your talent and accomplishments
You can get started by signing up and creating a profile. During setup we'll ask if you are a developer or an employer/recruiter/agency. Based on that you can either start filling out your profile by adding projects and work experience, and browse the open job opportunities. As an employer you can create opportunities (job postings) and start looking for and connecting with developers.
DevBuilt is not intended to be the place where you formally apply for jobs. That either happens on the employer's website or through a formal application process. However, you can express your interest in a job by connecting with the employer and messaging them directly.
You can connect with a developer by 'Suggesting' an opportunity to them. This will add the opportunity to a listing on their home page, along with a personalised message that you may add.
Once a developer has expressed an interest in your opportunity you can message them directly.
